Welder/Fabricator

Reports to: Plant Manager

This position is responsible for the safe handling, fitting, welding, grinding, and proper tagging of product being bent on the press brake.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Interpreting engineering drawings
• Fitting and welding parts for jobs to specifications
• Properly tagging completed work with required information
• Follow all SOP's and JSA's
• Operation of forklifts and hoists
• Checking quality of work to drawings/specification and part quantity
• Other tasks as instructed by supervision

Qualifications: High School Education or GED; Vo-Tech/Trade School preferred

Experience: 1 - 2 years in industrial/manufacturing environment

Specific Skills: Welding; Forklift preferred

Physical Abilities: Standing/Bending full shift, lifting up to 50lbs, exposure to loud noises may require hearing protection, exposure to chemicals and fumes may require use of a respirator, various sheet metal products may require specific PPE protection, communication with others, some repetitive motion

Mechanical Designer

This is an opportunity for an entry/mid-level mechanical designer. This position will include both new equipment and system design in the industrial air filtration industry.

Responsibilities
• Creating/modifying 3D models and engineering drawings
• Developing Bills of materials and routers
‍• Understanding, sourcing, and quoting of various components
• New product developments
• Works directly with sales to ensure equipment meets customer's specifications
• Effective communication with sales, manufacturing, and purchasing
• Ability to multi-task
• Working closely with management on cost savings measures
• Develop and refind various machine designs to increase productivity

Requirements:
• Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience
• Proficiency in SolidWorks with a working knowledge of AutoCAD

Education:
• Associantes (preferred) or equivalent work experience

Experience:
• SolidWorks: 2 years (preferred)
• AutoCAD: 1 year (preferred)
