The first style features a black thermoplastic rubber construction reinforced with a spring steel wire helix, offering a wide temperature rating from –65°F to 275°F and availability from 1″ to 24″ diameters, sold in 5' increments (up to 50' for 1″–12″ and 25' for 14″–24″). For proper installation, bridge hose clamps, hose clamps, and hose adapters are ordered separately. The second style is an all-extruded, molecularly bonded urethane duct with encapsulated wire, providing maximum abrasion resistance, excellent tear strength, and reduced turbulence for efficient airflow. Its clear 0.030″ urethane construction is FDA-approved, available in 2″–12″ diameters, weighs 0.84 lbs/ft, comes in 5' lengths with a 2:1 compression ratio, and handles temperatures from –65°F to +200°F.
