Y-BranchY not?

Y-Shaped Branches, also known as True Wyes, are duct fittings designed to split or merge airflow efficiently by connecting three duct lines at an angle. These branches are standard at 60° between legs, with optional angles such as 30°, 45°, and 90° to suit various airflow and space requirements.

Double BranchDouble Trouble

Double Branches are duct fittings used to connect two incoming duct lines into a main duct, typically in systems where airflow from multiple sources needs to merge smoothly. These branches are tapered to support increased airflow volume, with the exit leg (toward the fan)designed larger to accommodate the combined air.

Tee Branches, or T-branches, are duct fittings used to create a 90° branch off a main duct line, forming the shape of a “T.” They are commonly used in positive pressure systems where air is being pushed through the ducts. Due to their design, they are not recommended for negative pressure systems, as the branch line can experience reduced airflow caused by increased static pressure.

In-CutGiddy up and go

In-Cuts, also known as Saddle Taps, are branch fittings used to create a new duct line by tapping into an existing trunk. This is done by cutting a hole in the main duct and saddling the In-Cut over the opening. They are fastened with tech screws and sealed with caulk to ensure a secure and airtight fit.
